This Gucci Store is located in The Charleston Place Hotel in beautiful downtown Charleston, SC. It was an open phased rebuild and our first opportunity to work directly with Arredoquattro out of Italy. This store was able to maintain it's normal hours of operation while we demolished the existing and adjacent store in phases and rebuilt a brand new store. Just about any hurdle that you can imagine was encountered and overcome during this build and we were still able to maintain the original schedule. There were no loading docks and all of the deliveries had to be scheduled on two of the busiest streets in the country, all of the store fixtures were shipped from Italy, all but one of our installers spoke only Italian, there was no area for dumpsters and trash had to be hauled off daily, the floor had to be leveled throughout, all this while phase-building one of the highest end stores in one of the highest end hotels in the world. The job was a complete success so much so that we were recommended to do the Louis Vuitton across the hall the following year. Kudos to Leo Germain at Charleston Place for being the best Operations Manager that we have ever had the pleasure of working with.
